Every year I challenge myself to fi ll a calendar with 12 new illustrations. For the 2020 edition of my calendar I chose to incorporate famous historic paintings and reimagine them in my style. The addition of the animal companions gives the paintings a modern and surreal touch.
To highlight the contrast between the old traditional paintings and the animals I played with different drawing techniques and colors.
