Created during my final semester in Korea, seoul.zip is a visual time capsule exploring memory, distance, and emotional preservation. The project collects small everyday moments and objects that symbolize personal experiences, later transformed into cyanotype-like images whose fragmented and imperfect appearance reflects the way memories fade and distort over time.

The images are stored inside a small matchbox, an object often used to keep tiny personal treasures, turning it into a container for memory instead. Rather than containing the full archive itself, the box holds fragments of the images alongside a USB stick that acts as the only key to an online archive. Through the website, viewers can explore the memories further and uncover additional layers of emotional coding embedded within the cyanotype images.
